Inter handed transfer boost?! Udinese line up Oumar Solet replacement as Nerazzurri consider bid for full-back

  WHAT HAPPENED?

  Inter want to add another defender to their ranks and have Oumar Solet in mind. However, according to Football Italia, if Udinese let Solet leave this summer, they too would need a perfect replacement. As per the report, they have identified former Inter youth player Kinkoue as a candidate.

  THE BIGGER PICTURE

  Cristian Chivu and Inter have a few transfer targets, and Solet seems to be one of them. The 25-year-old joined Udinese last summer and appeared 19 times in the Serie A.  Operating as a centre-back, he scored once and assisted twice. On the other hand, Kinkoue is a favourite candidate to join Udinese, and discussions have already started to acquire his services. Kinkoue currently represents Le Havre in Ligue 1 and recorded 28 appearances for them in Ligue 1 last term. 

• DID YOU KNOW?

  Kinkoue joined Inter's U-19 side back in 2019 and spent two seasons at the club before joining Olympiacos' reserves side in 2021. In 2023, he joined Le Havre and within a few months won the Ligue 2.
